Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 28, 2026

Forge Fundraising ("we," "us," or "our") helps teams, schools, booster clubs, nonprofits, and other groups organize their fundraising. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use Forge Fundraising, we may collect the following:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password.
  • Organization and group data — your group name, type (e.g., youth sports, PTO, booster club), and any details you enter about your team or organization.
  • Fundraising data — sponsors, donations, expenses, campaign goals, volunteer records, and event details you add to the platform.
  • Uploaded documents — receipts, agreements, logos, and other files you store in the document center.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Forge Fundraising service.
  • Generate dashboards, reports, and exports for your group.
  • Power AI features when you choose to use them. If you use the AI writing assistant (for example, to draft a sponsor letter or thank-you note), the relevant text is sent to the Anthropic API for generation. Anthropic does not use your data to train its models. AI features are optional — you can use the platform without them.
  • Send you transactional messages such as account confirmations and important service updates.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is hosted on Vercel and stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We enforce row-level security in the database so that each group can only access its own records.

While no system is perfectly secure, we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information and regularly review our security posture.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the platform:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • Stripe — payment processing, when payment features are enabled.
  • Anthropic — AI text generation, when AI features are enabled.

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver their service and under their own privacy policies.

5. Your Rights

You can:

  • Export your data at any time using the export tools built into Settings.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
  • Update your information directly in your account settings.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

  • Session cookies — required for authentication and keeping you logged in.
  • Theme preference — an optional cookie that remembers your light/dark mode choice.

We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party advertising scripts.

7. Children's Privacy

Forge Fundraising is designed for adult group administrators — coaches, parents, board members, and volunteers. The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will notify you through the app before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
